Massage
Having qualified as a holistic massage therapist in 1995, I have continued exploring other massage techniques and always found it to be the perfect compliment to yoga when helping people to fully relax and become present.
Massage has many origins, namely Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Hawaiian. Swedish massage is one of the most widely used massage therapies today, also known as Therapeutic or Holistic massage.
What can Massage do for me?
Swedish Massage uses techniques, which have far-reaching physiological, physical, mental and emotional effects.

Through the use of specific strokes on the body, Swedish Massage helps to eliminate the build-up of toxins that we accumulate in the tissues. Drainage of these toxins produces a cleansing effect thus allowing the body to rid itself of the damaging by-products of everyday activities. Circulation begins to flow more easily, essential nutrients begin to reach the muscles and tissues, muscles begin to relax and nerve endings are stimulated to produce the ultimate in relaxation! Coupled with the use of base and essential oils, Swedish Massage is one of the best stress busting therapies around.
You can opt for a massage that suits your need at that precise moment, whether it’s a hand massage, foot massage, leg or arm massage, facial massage or the ever popular back massage, you can be confident that you will feel the benefits immediately. You can also choose from a range of specially prepared blended oils to help promote your feelings of relaxation.

Sound good? Well, believe me it is one of the most relaxing, revitalising and rejuvenating experiences you can have in these times of stressful living.
